AgentPals is a game developed and published by Righteous Games, Inc. ("Righteous Games", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the AgentPals website, wishlist, playtests, and game services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to the agentpals.io website and to AgentPals game services. It does not cover third-party websites or storefronts (such as Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox, or Nintendo services) that operate under their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you wishlist, sign up for updates, request playtest access, pre-order, or contact us, we may collect your email address, display name, platform preference, and the contents of any message you send.
Information collected automatically. When you use our website or game services, we may collect technical data such as device and browser type, general location inferred from IP address, pages visited, and gameplay and diagnostic data used to improve stability and balance.
Community content. If you publish or trade skills, join community spaces, or apply to the creators program, we process the content you submit and basic account identifiers associated with it.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve AgentPals and its website; to send updates you asked for, such as playtest invitations and launch news; to run pre-orders, playtests, and the creators program; to review player-authored skills for balance, safety, and abuse; to secure our services and prevent fraud; and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, with platform partners where required to deliver the game, and where the law requires it.
4. Marketing choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in every message, or by contacting us. We will still send you essential, non-promotional messages related to accounts, purchases, or security.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@agentpals.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
7. Children
AgentPals is not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their region, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the game and its services evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
